About Sutcha-Eamah

 
 

A 4th generation seamstress from Chicago, IL. Sutcha-Eamah is a talented designer who combines an Afro-Futuristic design aesthetic with classic silhouettes. Sutcha-Eamah constantly pulls from her heritage and draws inspiration from many cultures within the African diaspora. She received formal training from The Fashion School at Kent State University, graduating with honors in 2018 as well as her internships with The Pattern Makers in Cleveland, OH and Binta Sagale in Chicago, IL. While attending The Fashion School at Kent State University Sutcha-Eamah received training in flat pattern and draping as well as CAD techniques. Sutcha-Eamah also completed rigorous coursework in historical costume and historical photography with honors while maintaining academic concentrations in Art History and Pre-Law. Sutcha-Eamah continues to bring her unique design to the world via various upcoming design projects.
